Using a crochet hook or darning needle, draw the two yarn ends inside the snowman. Felt the snowmen lightly, either by hand or machine, by agitating in alternately hot and cold water. They should shrink to about 70% of their knitted size. When felting is complete, remove and reshape, allowing to air dry. To make the sections appear more distinct, wrap a rubber band around the necks / waists while drying. Once dry, trim off any long fuzzy bits. Use beads, buttons or embroidery to create the snowman’s faces. Attach a loop to hang (optional).
